Here are answers to frequenly asked questions:

  1. Is Project Spark free?
    Project Spark is a technology preview available from Autodesk Labs. Please refer to the End User License Agreement that appears when installing the application for more information on technology previews and terms of use.

  2. How long will Project Spark be available to use?
    Project Spark will be available to use until July 7, 2012.

  3. What is the serial number/activation code for Project Spark?

  4. How is Project Spark related to Revit?
    Project Spark is based on the Revit Architecture code base, but does not support conceptual design, analysis, rendering, advanced collaboration, and API.

  5. Can I open Revit 2012 files in Project Spark?
    No. Files created in Revit are not supported. However, Revit 2012 files can be linked into Project Spark.

  6. Can I open Project Spark files in Revit 2012?
    No. Because Project Spark uses a newer Revit file format, it is not currently possible to open files created in Project Spark with Revit 2012.
