DWG Export for Maya
Technology Preview
The plug-in now supports Maya 2009.
The DWG Plug-in for Maya 2009/2008 enables users to export complex conceptual building designs from Maya for further design development and documentation in Autodesk Revit Architecture 2008. Installation
- Download the ZIP file
- Unzip its content
- Choose 2008 or 2009 and then either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Autodesk Maya DWG Plug-In
- Double-click the installer exe to begin the software installation; the Autodesk Maya DWG Export Plug-In Installation Wizard will appear
- Follow the instructions in the wizard to provide a Destination Folder and click Next
- Click Install; the Autodesk Maya DWG Export Plug-In is installed in the specified location.
- Click Finish to exit the installation wizard
Loading the Plug-In in Autodesk Maya 2009 or 2008
- Launch Autodesk Maya 2009 or Maya 2008
- Open the Plug-In Manager (Window> Settings/Preferences > Plug-In Manager)
- Click the Load and Auto Load checkboxes next to DCExport.mll plug-in
- Close the Plug-In Manager
