The Shrinkwrap add-in helps you create envelope parts from Autodesk® Inventor® assemblies. The Shrinkwrap add-in takes advantage of Inventor software’s derived part workflows to create a stand-alone, single part solid version of a model assembly. Identify component voids to be filled with solid materials, and the Shrinkwrap add-in fills any internal voids remaining in the assembly.
With the Shrinkwrap add-in, you can reduce the detail of production data to protect your intellectual property, create simplified data for complex purchased assemblies, create substitutes for use with alternative representations in Autodesk Inventor, and more.
