OVERVIEW

The Feature Recognition technology preview application converted neutral 3D CAD models, such as STEP, SAT, or IGES solids, into full-featured Autodesk® Inventor® models. Feature mapping could be executed automatically or interactively as needed to maintain design intent.

AVAILABILITY

The technology preview for Inventor 2013 expired onl April 1, 2013. The team has plans to make a non-expiring version available in the Autodesk Subscription Center, but an agreed upon date has not yet been set.
