Autodesk is pleased to announce that we have released a new version of Inventor LT, Autodesk Inventor LT Technology Preview 2009, and that it is again free* to download and use.
This means you will have another year of Inventor LT!
Under the terms of the original Inventor LT Technology Preview, licenses are set to expire on May 1, 2008. The release of Inventor LT Technology Preview 2009 prior to May 1 means that you are able to continue to work in Inventor LT for another full year without any downtime. Inventor LT 2009 is available in the same countries — US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand — and we plan to roll it out to select additional countries later in the year.
Keep your existing Inventor LT data
Inventor LT 2009 is compatible with designs created in the original version. So you can be assured that the designs you created using the original version of Inventor LT work in the new version.
