Project Freewheel

Project Freewheel® allows you to view and collaborate with design data without installing additional software. All you need is a browser. Project Freewheel® is both a Web site where you can type in a URL to your own design data for interactive viewing, and a Web service that allows you to embed an interactive viewer of your own design data in your own HTML pages. Today it provides technology to view your DWF™ files on a Macintosh® computer, a PDA, a Cell Phone, on a Windows® or Linux® platform, or in Microsoft® Internet Explorer®, or Firefox® browsers. Project Freewheel® also provides technology to embed your own DWF file in your company's own web page (HTML) that visitors can view without installing additional software.

What's New

With Project Freewheel® you can:

• Work with your 3D and 2D designs published from AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, or Design Review using the "Share Now" utility.
• Easily embed your designs in web pages using DIV tags - IFRAME tags are now optional.
• Share your 3D and 2D designs in real time collaboration sessions. Participants can pan, zoom, orbit, etc. and everyone sees the same picture. Participants can make comments using sketch and callout markup tools. Participants can chat so notes are stored with the sharing session.
• Manage your 3D and 2D designs and sharing sessions using the "My Designs" and "My Sessions" capabilities.
• Navigate your designs using the "3D View Navigation Wheel" and "2D Navigation Wheel."  or improved orbit cube.
• Customize the Project Freewheel® user interface as part of embedding your designs in your own web pages. // more
• Provide a customized user experience via the Project Freewheel JavaScript API. // more
• Integrate your designs into Project Draw.

Since Project Freewheel® is entirely web-based, if you can access the internet through one of the listed browsers you can use Project Freewheel®. It's that simple.
