Project Draw usage: ONLINE, OFFLINE (connected), and OFFLINE (disconnected)

When I tested Google Gears with Project Draw as documented in The Project Draw Google Gears Experience, I was testing a portion of only one of three possible base use cases. Autodesk Labs Software Engineer, David Falck, provided a simple diagram that shows the possibilities:
