Project Draw LabFair: PowerPoint slides

Our first LabFair featuring Project Draw was a big success. We had many more people sign up and attend than we first imagined. As this was our first webinar, we did learn a thing or two regarding logistics. If we use the phone for audio, we need to have the call in passcode clearly identified. Though we provided a toll free number for North America, we need to supply another zero cost audio avenue for the other six continents. Okay five - maybe no one will call from Antarctica.

In terms of Project Draw itself, people like its ease of use and non-existent learning curve. To draw, you just drag and drop and resize - using the same grips that are familiar to most desktop application users. Some of you want to get fancy and provide your own shapes. The example cited was the desire to let people craft their own band uniforms.

For those who were unable to attend, presenter and software engineer, David Falck, has shared his PowerPoint slides. This is the original deck he pulled from to paste into Project Draw itself. David inserted the slides as thumbnail images and then, in turn, resized each slide using its grips.

Thanks David. Congratulations to online attendee, John J. Becker II, from RTKL Associates, Inc. who was randomly selected to receive an Adapx Digital Pen.

We appreciate the logistical and technology feedback. For the future, we will work on both. Sharing the benefits of creating diagrams without installing additional software is alive in the lab.
